terrestrial elements

Terrestrial elements describe those elements that occur naturally on Earth, which include all of the elements from hydrogen (1) through plutonium (94). Certain rare, radioactive elements, such as the transition metal technetium (43), the lanthanon protactinium (61), the semimetal astatine (85), and the alkali metal francium (87), occur in the Earth's crust only as short-lived decay products of heavier elements.
